Privacy policy

This is a personal portfolio: no accounts, no forms, no newsletter, no advertising. This page explains in plain language what little data the site touches, where it goes, and the choices you have.
Who is responsible
Jorge Molina, the person behind this portfolio, is responsible for the data described here. For anything related to your data, write to jorgemolinafuster@gmail.com.
Analytics and cookies
The site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand traffic — which pages are visited, from which country, on what kind of device. It starts with consent denied: no analytics cookies are set unless you accept them in the cookie banner. If you accept, Google sets the _ga and _ga_* cookies (they last up to two years) to tell returning visits apart; if you decline, no cookies are set and only anonymous, cookieless signals are sent.
It also uses Vercel Analytics, which sets no cookies and produces aggregate counts only. Neither tool is used for advertising or cross-site tracking, and nothing you type into the chat ever reaches analytics.
Your cookie choice
You can change your decision at any time from this page. It takes effect immediately.
You haven't decided yet — analytics cookies are off.
The AI chat
The "Ask about Jorge" chat sends your messages — together with the previous turns of the same conversation — to Google (Gemini API), which generates each reply. This site does not store your conversation: it lives in your browser and is gone when you close or reload the page. Google processes those messages under its own terms — see the Google Privacy Policy (opens in new tab) and the Gemini API terms (opens in new tab).
Please don't type personal or sensitive information into the chat; it isn't needed to ask about Jorge's work. Your IP address is used only to cap requests per minute — it is held briefly in the server's memory for that check and this site never writes it to a database.
Local storage
The site keeps two small technical values in your browser's local storage: your language (EN/ES) and your cookie decision. They contain nothing that identifies you and never leave your device; you can remove them by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Hosting
The site runs on Vercel. Like any hosting provider, Vercel processes IP addresses and standard request logs to serve and protect the site — see the Vercel Privacy Policy (opens in new tab).
Embedded content and external links
Videos are embedded in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and load nothing until you press play; from that moment YouTube's own policy applies. External links — LinkedIn, project sites — are governed by their own policies.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access, rectification, erasure or restriction of your data, object to its processing, or ask for portability by writing to jorgemolinafuster@gmail.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish supervisory authority, the AEPD (opens in new tab).
